Reflexology for Fertility and IVF
Trying to conceive—whether naturally, with assisted conception, or while navigating menstrual health challenges—can feel like an emotional rollercoaster. The stress, the waiting, the endless Googling... it’s a lot.
And while there’s no magic button to make it all easier, relaxation is one of the most underrated tools for reproductive health. That’s where we come in.

At Reflex East, our fertility-focused reflexology sessions help regulate cycles, ease tricky symptoms, and support both natural conception and assisted fertility treatments like IVF and IUI.
By promoting deep relaxation and hormonal balance, reflexology creates the optimal environment for conception while giving you a much-needed break from the overwhelm.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the fertility journey, let’s take some of that weight off your shoulders. Book your first session and experience the benefits of fertility reflexology for yourself.

What to expect
Your initial appointment will be 90 minutes, giving us plenty of time to take a deep dive into your fertility journey.
Our highly skilled practitioners will do a in depth consultation with you, asking about your menstrual cycle, main concerns, how long you’ve been trying to conceive, your phase of IVF (if applicable), and any investigations you’ve already had. We’ll also discuss your lifestyle habits to build a clear picture of your overall health and how we can best support you.

After this consultation, you’ll receive a deeply nourishing reflexology treatment, fully tailored to you, and everything we’ve discussed—including the specific day of your cycle or where you are in your IVF protocol.

At the end of the session, your practitioner will go over any key findings and offer lifestyle recommendations or referrals for further testing that may affect fertility, such as vaginal microbiome analysis, ultrasounds, blood tests, or semen analysis for your partner.
You’ll likely feel mega relaxed (and possibly a little dazed!) post-treatment, but don’t worry - your reflexologist will follow up within a day or two with an email summarising the key points and next steps.

Ongoing support
Follow-ups are 60 minutes and begin with a check-in to discuss how you’re feeling, any symptom improvements, and updates on any tests or investigations. Then, you’ll receive your reflexology treatment, adjusted as needed to support your current phase of the fertility journey.

For most clients, we recommend starting with two sessions per menstrual cycle—one before ovulation and one after. Not sure when you ovulate? You can watch our FREE masterclass to learn how to track it accurately.

We generally suggest committing to reflexology for at least three months to experience its full benefits. Just like going to the gym, it takes consistency to see results. Since follicular development takes around 90 days, this timeframe allows us to work with your body’s natural cycle and support lasting changes.

Throughout your time with us, your reflexologist will tailor your treatment plan as needed—whether that means increasing sessions to weekly during IVF or scaling back as symptoms improve. We’re here to guide you every step of the way.
FAQ's for fertility reflexology

How does reflexology support fertility
Reflexology works by stimulating specific pressure points on the feet that correspond to different parts of the reproductive system. This can help to support the hormonal system, reduce stress, and support overall reproductive health.
Is reflexology safe during IVF or IUI?
Absolutely. Reflexology can be a great complementary therapy during fertility treatments. We tailor sessions to where you are in your IVF/IUI cycle to provide optimal support. It’s also a great alternative to acupuncture during IVF if you don't like needles!
Can I come in the two week wait?
100%. In fact, we encourage clients to come during the two week wait. Whilst reflexology won't be the thing that ‘gets you pregnant’ at this point, reflexology can certainly help to reduce some of the anxiety experienced during the two week wait
Does reflexology work for unexplained infertility?
Many clients with unexplained infertility have found reflexology beneficial for stress reduction, hormone balance, and cycle regularity. We can also help to refer you for further testing if and when we see fit. While reflexology is not a cure-all, it can be a valuable part of a holistic and multi-pronged approach to fertility.
Can reflexology improve egg quality?
While reflexology cannot directly change egg quality, it supports circulation, hormone regulation, and stress reduction—all of which can contribute to improved ovarian function and a more supportive environment for healthy egg development. If this is your priority, then I would strongly consider working alongside a nutritionist too.
Can reflexology help with male fertility?
Yes! Pleaaaseeee book your male partners in! Reflexology can support sperm health by reducing stress, improving circulation, and promoting hormonal balance. We also offer referrals for semen analysis and additional testing if needed.
How many sessions will I need?
We usually recommend coming for at least three months (one full follicular cycle of egg development) to see the best results. Most clients start with two sessions per cycle (before and after ovulation), but we tailor the plan to your needs.
What’s the best time in my cycle to have reflexology?
For most people, we recommend twice per cycle—once before ovulation and once after. If you’re undergoing IVF, we will adjust to roughly once a week treatments to fit your protocol
How long before trying to get pregnant or starting IVF should I start reflexology?
In an ideal world, starting reflexology or any treatment to support fertility, would begin 3 months before. This is so we have time to support the follicular development of the menstrual cycle and see the impact of your treatment and lifestyle changes.
What should I do between sessions to support my fertility?
Your reflexologist will provide lifestyle recommendations, including diet, stress management techniques, and fertility awareness tracking. You can also check out all of our resources in the Free Stuff section
